@PeterCxy What if I have a file that's more than 1GB in size. Do I have to split it up over multiple volumes?

@staresaterrormessages SeaweedFS splits files into chunks long before the volume size threshold.

@PeterCxy This is probably a dumb question. Is SeaweedFS anything like IPFS or ZeroNet?

@staresaterrormessages Nothing like them at all. SeaweedFS is a self-hosted distributed storage engine for small files that is flexible in terms of topology and supports S3 gateway (that's why I used it for my Mastodon instance). It is not a peer-to-peer file sharing system.

@PeterCxy Ok cool. When you mentioned chunking it made me think of IPFS. Do you have a git for Seaweed?
