@PeterCxy Last year I made a DIY Raspberry Pi gameboy, it was a failure. HW/SW was fine, but had a nasty mechanical problem. The uneven pressure due to the board thickness made D-pad buttons unusable (e.g. if you press "left", the "up" is also triggered). I need to design a single-board SoC version without an external Pi, but it's a big project...

@niconiconi This one designed by Retroflag seems quite clever about this -- the pi sits in a cartridge that is separated from the main board and supported by the outer casing, so there is no uneven pressure on the actual "main" board. The board exposes a PCI slot-like interface which connects to the cartridge.
