我们对历史无法全盘认清，但是总能惊异于它们之间的相似性。现在看六四中反腐败、反老人政治的口号，我会本能地觉得这过于激进，类似“与虎谋皮”的效果，或许是这一事件的历史结果带给我的暗示？然而在当事人的眼中，学生这种诉求是可以理解、可以沟通的，这种态度这在现在看来却显得罕见。
面对一例例校园性侵案，我们记录、我们传播、我们愤怒、我们希望有所改变，我们认为这种诉求合情合理，和反动没有半毛钱关系——这又何尝不像是上世纪八十年代末的那群学生所想：我们手无寸铁，如何颠覆政权？我们只是要回你们曾许诺的公正和民主，这样的声音不被允许存在吗？
然而这种诉求的让步是显而易见的，29年前他们要求的是平等的发展权，反对特权；现在政府羞辱人民的手法已经到了炉火纯青的地步，民众连为自己的人身安全发声也不被允许了。

I'm not necessarily a free software fundamentalist but IoT devices running non-free software is just freaking scary of all the things I could think about. I COULD accept non-free JavaScript, non-free Instant Messaging, non-free Office suite, but the idea of having basically every "thing" around me running non-free not even open-source software on them with full Internet access just sound like pandora's box.

Since Linux desktops switched to new libinput, many trackball/touchpads users complained pointer is difficult to move. Finally a developer decided to have a look at legacy X Window code.
The discovery? made by hackers in the past 30 years, including 7 (!) curve profiles, 15 (!) configurable parameters, and confusing formulas, designed to smooth of pointer movement for everything since 80s, perfectly usable if user know how to configure.
